I first tried to read this book as a written book, if that makes any sense, but I became bord with it so I put it down and did not pick it back up. Being that I am mildly dyslexic it is hard for me to get through a book if I can't stay interested. My mother keept insisting that this book was wonderful and she was so disapointed I couldn't finish it. So I picked up the audio book (I love audio books) knowing I could get through it that way, and I have to say I enjoyed it. Not the best book I ever read but it was pretty good. I thought Marlana was pretty flat, and I didn't care much about her. I think the author could have put more into her and it may have been a 4 star for me. As is stands, 3 1/2.
