To save time, just go down & read Red's review, because I feel exactly the same way about this book. I would like to give it 5 stars for most of the book and 1 star for the last of it. Now that I understand it's a re-hashing of Hamlet, I know the ending had to go the way it did, but still....I wanted something, anything good to happen! Shoot, just a few more people alive in the end would have been nice.
Still, loved the book. Beautifully written. The last installment from Almondine (dog), was so well done, so heartbreaking I can't get it out of my head....and I really would like to.
